Thom Yorke, Buck and little Buck

Three guys get into a car: Thom Yorke, Buck and little Buck. No, not the little Buck from Phallusoftheday.blogspot.com. The 5.5 year old little Buck who is really his own person.

Buck is dressed in black because he wants to blend into the blandness of his corporate environs. Thom Yorke is singing "How to Disappear Completely" from Kid A, which is a gorgeous piece of music about his emotional reaction to becoming a rock star when OK Computer became huge. Little Buck is sitting in the backseat just taking stuff in and thinking. Thom wails in a ghost-like moan toward the end of the song.

Little Buck: "Dad, is that a guy's voice or an instrument."
Buck: "A guy's voice." Buck turns the volume down.
"What's the song about, Dad?"
"It's about a guy who wants to disappear."
"Why does he want to disappear?"
"Because he wants to be invisible."
"Dad, do you want to be invisible?"
"Yes."
"Why?"
"So no one can yell at me."
"I want to be invisible sometimes, too."
