Baseball season is over - this means that the 3 to 4 hours I spend watching TV nearly every day is now up for grabs. I only have to go to work sporadically for at least the next few months. I can't leave town, because I'm kind of on call for a while there. I can't really look for a job intensively right now, that's also a few months away. Naturally, there's a bunch of domestic stuff that takes up time: kid stuff, laundry, home improvements and other chores. But that still leaves some time to fill.
Television? Probably not so much. But, I could be lured back into some habits of daytime crap.
Books? As much as my eyes can handle, I hope. There are tons of these I've been meaning to get to.
Movies? I hope so. I love going to matinees, and the next few months is the time when the good stuff comes out.
Blogging and web surfing? I have been wasting lots of time with this at work for years, so probably not much change there.
Personal health? I'm having some minor surgery done that I've been putting off for a few years. I hope I won't fall into too much munching and can keep this stuff under control.
It should be interesting to check back in a few months to see how I've done against my intentions. At least, it will be interesting to me. This may become the lamest blog ever. Which is OK, because readership is very very thin.

The Sunroom, the living room plastering, the master bedroom (moulding around the closets, paint), and some nooners with your wife. :)
